Interest
The most memorable moment for me in the week of 10/26/15-10/30/15 was an art piece we created for a partner. For this assignment, my partner and I had a general discussion about us in relation to HTHCV. We each took notes of each other's responses. After we took notes, we were asked to create an original art piece based on our partner's words. For my partner, he valued his friends as his second family. He also really liked the concept of HTHCV and that everyone is in it together. When I looked at these two specific values, I was stumped for a while on what to draw. After several ideas and drafts, I came up with the perfect idea; I would draw my partner and all of his friends in front of HTHCV. I felt that this idea would embody the values my partner discussed the most. And it did. The moment I presented my art piece to him, he liked it immediately. He said it was a great idea and that he should have done that for his art piece.
Analysis
During this week, I felt that my self creativity has risen to new levels. When I was in the first week of school, I felt that my creativity would never rise to meet expectations from my peers. Now I can say, with a lot of confidence, that I was surely wrong. This week of art has pushed my thinking to a deeper level and I am proud of that. Now, I look forward to continue cultivating my creativity.
For Humanities this week, my teacher started discussing about interviews. The reason why we are on this topic is to prepare us for our upcoming mural project in Paradise Hills. In several weeks, our team will interview several residents from Paradise Hills. The focus of these interviews is to get ideas for our murals and have a general idea of what people want to see.
Additional Thoughts
My experience this week has been a positive experience. In both classes, I put my maximum effort into everything to make sure it is the highest quality. I want to make sure that when I do the mural project, the work I do is made with the maximum effort.
The most difficult part of this week for me was thinking of what to draw for my partner. The values he gave me were nice but really hard to draw conceptually. Originally, I planned to draw a public high school vs. HTHCV. The public high school would satire the traditional high school experience: Huge social cliques, Vandalism, and Bullying. Over at HTHCV, I would show how everyone cares for one another by drawing several scenarios of friendship. I thought this was a great idea at first, but it never really embodied the values of what my partner said. I then had to go back to the idea board to think of new ideas. Eventually, I came up with a better idea but I felt that I wasted too much time planning or worrying about my design.

Art Piece
For my Honors Art Piece this week, I decided to go with a simple but powerful image that coincides with what I did this week. During this week, my creativity was pushed to think new things or ideas I would normally not think of. I was also pushed to think outside of the box when I was asked to create an image based off of words.
