For our Humanities class, we write a lot every day. We label what we write under the title free write and the topic of the writing. Now, we are given the freedom to write whatever we want, as long as it relates to the topic, hence the name free write. The free write that I thought was nice enough to present was "Sherlock Justs Wants to Have Fun". If you have watched the show Sherlock before, you are going to understand what I am writing about. For those of you who don't know the plot, Sherlock Holmes is playing a game with a serial killer in which he is given a certain amount of time to solve a crime. If he fails to solve the crime, a person will die in the form of a giant BOOM. Below is my journal entry about it. The question was "Is it acceptable for Sherlock to have fun while doing these sort of stuff"?
In the show, it is acceptable for Sherlock to have fun playing a game with a murderer because it gives him thrills. It would be wrong if Sherlock lets innocent people die, but that did not happen in the show. He was having fun when he knew that the victim's life would be saved
